NASCO Resin Cored Solders have excellent "Wetting" properties. This solder is triple cored to ensure even distribution on the work surface. The flux within the triple core is non‑corrosive and non‑conductive. It is ideally suited for all electronic and electrical work. NASCO Resin Cored Solders are manufactured from the purest virgin base metals, highest quality natural resins and small quantities of highly effective activators Typical applications of NASCO Resin Cored Solders
NASCO 63T and 60T Resin Cored Solders are typically used for: electrical, electronic, and other assemblies and components that must not be overheated or that require a free‑running solder. Radio, telephone, instrument assemblies, printed circuits and miniaturization work. Machine soldering of can‑end seams and protective coatings
NASCO 50T Resin Cored Solder is generally used for the same applications as the 40T solders.
NASCO 40T Resin Cored Solder is typically used for Copper‑bit soldering of electrical, electronic, and general work that is not particularly susceptible to heat damage and that does not require optimum penetration. Batteries, sweated joints in iron and steel (plain, tinned and galvanized), copper, copper alloys, general machine soldering, as well as for the manufacture of electric lamps.
All the above NASCO Resin Cored Solders are available on reel sizes of.
Please note that other grades and diameters can be made on request by the customer. (Back to Top)

Available in wire, stick, bar or ingot form and can be used for the following applications: NASCO SABS S1 Commutator as well as fine jointing work and where a component is at risk from heat damage (see melting range under "technical").
NASCO SABS S2 Hand soldering of long seam work. (Unsuitable for zinc or galvanized articles)
NASCO SABS S3 Any general work. (Unsuitable for zinc or galvanized articles)
NASCO SABS S4 A non‑antimonial solder which may be used for the soldering of electrical joints. Also suitable for soldering zinc, zinc plated, galvanized and cadmium plated metals. It may also be applied by machine soldering.
NASCO SABS S5 Wiped joints, as plumbers' solder, as well as being suitable for the jointing of lead cable sheathing and other applications where a pasty range is required.
NASCO SABS S6 Hand soldering of long seam work (similar to NASCO SABS S2 but is more suitable for the soldering of brass and galvanized steel).
NASCO SABS S7 This soft solder has similar applications to that of NASCO SABS S5. Primarily used for radiator repairs and for applications where a higher tin content is preferred.
NASCO SABS S8 A suitable substitute for NASCO SABS S1. Used in wave soldering machines for the manufacture of printed circuit boards. Also used in the assembly of stained glass work.
NASCO SABS S9 A low grade solder which may be used for hand work and especially for galvanized articles (Can be used as a substitute of NASCO SABS S5).
NASCO SABS S10 A suitable substitute for NASCO SABS S5 and may also be used for panel beating repair work.
NASCO SABS S11 Can be used as a substitute for NASCO SABS S9. (Back to Top)
